Festival of Artificial Intelligence: King’s Institute for Artifical Intelligence
Unlocking Insights: A Deep Dive into the King’s Institute for Artificial Intelligence Festival
In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, understanding the impact and reach of developments in AI is crucial. We partnered with the King’s Institute for Artificial Intelligence to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of their flagship annual event, the Festival of Artificial Intelligence. This detailed study was commissioned to assess the festival’s contribution to the Institute’s core goals.
Our research was designed to provide the Institute with actionable insights into the festival’s performance. By examining key metrics from both attendees and presenters, we sought to understand who the festival was reaching, why they were attending, and the overall value they derived from the experience.
Our methodology combined a thorough analysis of quantitative data with rich qualitative feedback. We analysed attendance data from over 3,500 unique attendees, surveyed event-goers, and collected responses to an in-event Net Promoter Score (NPS) question. Additionally, we gathered detailed feedback from presenters, both internal and external to King’s,to build a holistic picture of the festival’s impact.
Unlocking Potential: Recommendations for Future Growth
Based on our comprehensive analysis, we provided the King’s Institute with a series of strategic recommendations designed to build on the festival to unlock even greater potential. We identified key areas for development such as tailoring content for the expertise of the wider public and opportunities for fostering deeper connections, both between researchers and also the public.
Our work with the King’s Institute for Artificial Intelligence is part of our commitment to providing robust, data-driven insights that empower universities to make an impact with their research. By combining meticulous data analysis with clear, strategic recommendations, we help researchers not only understand their impact but also innovate in their engagement with the public with work that has a transformative impact on the world.
